JanSport is a cutting-edge youth brand that popularized school backpacks in the United States. I had the opportunity of working on JanSport during my time at Fluid. One of the most notable projects was a recent website redesign that brought JanSport to sell directly to consumers for the first time. Our goal was to refresh the depiction of the brand online, without alienating their consumers, and creating scalable design systems that make the site easier to update. One of our favorite strategies to keep the site always fresh was using plug-ins that scan the web for key user generated content and update the website daily automatically!
